Let’s understand CDN with an example. Suppose your website has been hosted with UK server. and someone from the USA visits your website then he will have to request and download your entire website from UK server (your website’s main server). this results in latency because the data will then have to travel from one country to other.
What CDN does it, it will deliver the content from the nearest POP. means if someone is requesting your website from the USA then he will get the website content from somewhere near his location. which results in faster loading time.
